Dublin, Texas: W.M. Wright Historical Park

Located on Park Street between West Elm and West Blackjack Streets
Dublin, Texas 76446

The W.M. Wright Historical Park, located just one block off of Highway 67/377 in downtown Dublin, provides a delightful window to the past for the history lover as well as a serene setting for those who are looking for a place to stretch their legs, share a picnic lunch, or read a few pages of the latest novel.

The largest structure in the park is the William T, Miller Grist Mill, built of native stone in 1882 and originally powered by steam.

Also of special interest is the 1855 Turnbow-Barbee log cabin. Both of these names have been recorded in the annals of area history, and the cabin certainly gives visitors a better understanding of just how primitive living conditions were for those early settlers on the Texas frontier.

Be sure to visit the W.M. Wright Historical Park on your next visit to Dublin.
