The Comanche County Historical Museum has to be one of the best small town museums in the state, with fourteen rooms full of unbelievably interesting history and artifacts.

From notorious bad guy, John Wesley Hardin, to the Father of Geology in Texas, Robert Thomas Hill, to the beloved Uncle Mart Fleming, visitors to the museum will immediately find themselves immersed in days gone by in Comanche County.

The museum is open from 2:00-4:00 on Thursdays and Saturdays and by special appointment. You can’t visit Comanche without putting this visit on your agenda!
